Iowa Underwater Search & Rescue
(IUSR) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that has been
serving the residents of Iowa and surrounding states since 1997. Since
the beginning, IUSR has taken pride in it's capabilities and strives to
offer the communities the best that it has to offer in the way of
technical underwater search, rescue, and recovery services.
As the population continues to
grow and participation in recreational activities increase, we have found the need to expand our
capabilities and services in order to keep up
with the increasing demands. With mission calls continually growing in number, we
can only anticipate more missions each year in the future. In order to keep our
equipment optimally maintained and facilitate a
rapid response, the need for funding is larger than ever.
In
addition, the continued training to keep the dive team members safe and
up to date on the latest safety knowledge is an ever growing burden,
even with the dive team members volunteering their time, the use of their personal gear,
travel, and their experience making these underwater services possible for
all your local communities.
This is why we are asking for your help.
All money's donated to IUSR
are tax deductible and will be used to provide much needed equipment, maintenance, and
advanced public safety training necessary to continue this valuable community service.

recovery services by making a donation today or participating in one of
